Chennai: Chennai Metro Rail has said the daily tourist passes for Rs 150 per day is available for passengers not only during summer vacations but on normal days also.
Passengers can get this pass and use for particular day for unlimited rides. Upon surrendering the card, Rs 50 will be a refunded. Last year nearly 29,956 commuters used this one day tourist pass.
‘This pass can be used by passengers and any person known to them on transferable basis. It is also available on monthly basis for Rs 2550 including a refundable deposit of Rs 50. Around 207 commuters used this monthly tourist pass last year,’ CMRL said in a release.
