Former Chief Minister and AIADMK Edappadi K Palaniswami left from his Greenways residence to take part in the proposed general council meet at Vanagaram Srivaaru Kalyana Mandapam today.
If the Madras High Court gives a gp ahead at 9 am, the GC would be conducted without any hassle. With a majority of leaders, GC members and district secretaries behind EPS, it looks likely tht he would be elected as single leader of the party.
Meanwhile OPS who challenged the conduct of GC meet is closeted in a discussion with his supporters. Reports say that OPS may be sacked from treasurer post today.
