
After removing Partha Chatterjee as minister, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee shunned yet another tainted minister from her Cabinet. While inducting fresh faces, Banerjee removed Paresh Adhikari, who was holding the responsibility as a state minister after the ouster of Chatterjee, was also omitted from the Cabinet reshuffle.
“In more embarrassment for Mamata Banerjee, a PIL has been filed in the Calcutta HC seeking direction for removal of Paresh Adhikari, MoS Education, a direct beneficiary of the #SSCScam, till such time the investigation is ongoing. Copy to be served on WB Govt. Listed for Friday (sic),” said BJP’s Amit Malviya.
