Taking a dig at AIADMK general secretary Edappadi Palaniswami for holding a mega meet in Madurai, former Chief Minister and his rival O Pannerselvam said, ‘It was needless and the meeting lacked the vigour’ We will contest 2024 Elections and our victory will ensure that we are the AIADMK, he added. Meanwhile, the camp led by the AIADMK’s former coordinator, O. Panneerselvam, on Monday launched a Tamil daily, Namadhu Puratchi Thondan, in Chennai. Panruti S. Ramachandran, political adviser of the camp, handed over the first copy of the inaugural issue to 10 long-standing members of the AIADMK, in the presence of Panneerselvam.
