The TN govt has announced that due to Vinayaka Chaturthi the fair price ration shops would be closed on 18 September.A circular has been sent in this regard by the Commissioner of Food Supplies and Consumer Protection to the district collectors. According to the circular, the TN govt has already announced that there would be holiday on 18th September instead of 17th for Vinayagar Chathurthi festival. Now, 18th of September has been declared as a holiday for all the ration shops.
