As the academic year draws to a close, summer vacation already begun for students in classes 1 to 3 from the 6 April. More recently, the science and social science exams for classes 4 to 9 were conducted on the 22 and 23 April Consequently, summer vacation for all students officially began Wednesday.
Looking ahead, the reopening date for schools post-holidays remains undecided, with the education department indicating a later announcement, possibly after the election results on June 4. However, there are speculations circulating that school reopening might be further delayed due to escalating summer heat conditions.
