The Dravidar Kazhagam’s new OTT platform, Periyar Vision, was launched in Chennai on Sunday. The platform was inaugurated by DMK MP Kanimozhi, with Dravidar Kazhagam President K Veeramani, actor Sathyaraj, and other Dravidian ideologues in attendance.
Chief Minister M K Stalin, who praised the initiative in a video message, highlighted that Periyar Vision OTT might be the first platform of its kind in the world based on an ideology. The platform, with the tagline “Everything for Everyone,” will offer a range of programming, including current affairs, political commentaries, interviews, and films, all dedicated to promoting social justice.
Stalin described the platform as a timely initiative, emphasizing the Dravidian movement’s commitment to advancing Periyar’s ideals of self-respect through various media and art forms. He noted that in the era of social media, Periyar Vision OTT is designed to bring Periyar’s ideologies to a younger audience, reinforcing the movement’s influence and message.
