The teaser launch event for the upcoming unique thriller drama film Madraskaran, directed by Vali Mohan Das and starring Niharika, was held in Chennai. Produced by B. Jagadeesh under SR Productions, the film features Malayalam actor Shane Nigam, Kalaiyarasan, and Niharika in prominent roles.During the event, which was attended by film celebrities and media personnel, the film crew shared insights into the making of “Madraskaran.”
Producer B. Jagadeesh expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “Madraskaran reflects the spirit of Madras, where people from all walks of life coexist and work together. Unlike other producers who approve projects only after hearing the full story, I was convinced to start this film after hearing just half of it, thanks to my trust in the director. I am satisfied with the film, and Shane has worked with immense dedication. He always arrived early for shoots and worked hard, ensuring a bright future for himself in Tamil cinema. Kalaiyarasan has performed excellently, and Niharika’s portrayal is both beautiful and outstanding. Aishwarya has also done a commendable job, and composer Sam CS has once again delivered fantastic music. The film has turned out wonderfully, and I thank everyone involved.”
Actress Aishwarya Dutta, who also stars in the film, shared her excitement, saying, “This is my 11th year in Tamil cinema, and after overcoming many obstacles, I got this film. Though I have acted in many movies, some were never released. Director Vali Mohan Das narrated a fantastic story to me, but that project halted after five days. Fortunately, this film, with my good friend and fantastic human being, producer Jagadeesh, materialized. I am thrilled to be part of it and confident that audiences will love it.”
Shane Nigam, known for his roles in “Kumbalangi Nights,” “Ishq,” and “RDx,” makes his Tamil debut with “Madraskaran.” He stars opposite Niharika, a prominent actress from the illustrious Chiranjeevi family of Telugu cinema. The film also features actors Kalaiyarasan and Aishwarya Dutta.
Director Vali Mohan Das, who previously painted the lives of school children in “Rangoli,” has crafted “Madraskaran” into a gripping film where a minor incident spirals into a major issue, dramatically affecting the lives of two individuals. The film’s music is composed by the renowned Sam CS.
