A group of 20 students from government schools in Tamil Nadu has embarked on an educational tour to Hong Kong, led by Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi. The students, accompanied by a National Best Teacher Award-winning educator and an official, departed for Hong Kong on August 22.This initiative is part of the government’s effort to reward and inspire students who excel in academics and co-curricular activities. Each year, top-performing students are selected for educational tours to renowned locations at the global, national, and state levels.
This year, various competitions were held for students from classes 6 to 9 across government middle, high, and higher secondary schools. The 20 students who achieved outstanding results were selected for this international tour.
As part of the tour, the students visited the famous Disneyland in Hong Kong the day before yesterday. The trip has been filled with excitement, and the students are eagerly participating in the activities.
The group is expected to return to Tamil Nadu on August 27, bringing back memorable experiences from their educational journey.
