AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS) dismissed rumors of internal conflicts within the party, stating, “We are united, and no one can divide us.” He made this statement in response to reporters’ questions regarding former minister K.A. Sengottaiyan.
For the past few days, Sengottaiyan has been notably absent from AIADMK MLAs’ meetings, sparking speculation about a rift between him and EPS. His absence from AIADMK legislative meeting at the Tamil Nadu Secretariat further fueled political discussions.
During a press interaction at the Secretariat, a reporter asked EPS about Sengottaiyan’s absence. Responding sharply, EPS said, “We are together now, and no one can break us apart.”
He further added, “Ever since I became Chief Minister, there have been continuous attempts to create divisions in AIADMK. But we have successfully overcome them. AIADMK cannot be broken or weakened by anyone. Those who try will face the consequences.”
