Tamil Nadu BJP President K. Annamalai has accused the DMK of imposing Hindi in private schools run by its leaders while opposing the three-language policy in government schools.
He stated that the National Education Policy (NEP) aims to provide equal language-
learning opportunities, but DMKās criticism of it is misleading. “DMK leadersā private schools offer multiple languages, yet they deny the same opportunity to government school students,” he said.
Annamalai also pointed out that the DMK government allocated ā¹11 crore for Sanskrit development in 2024-25 and ā¹10 crore for 2025-26, questioning their stance on language policies.
