Lalu Yadav Expels Son Tej Pratap from RJD for Six Years

RJD leader Lalu Prasad Yadav has removed his elder son Tej Pratap Yadav from the party. The expulsion is for six years. Lalu said Tej Pratap’s behaviour was irresponsible. He added that it did not match the family’s values or public standards.

Lalu made the announcement through a post on social media. He said personal mistakes affect the party’s fight for social justice.

This action came after a Facebook post linked to Tej Pratap. The post claimed he had been in a relationship with Anushka Yadav for 12 years. Later, Tej Pratap said his account was hacked. He also said the photos were edited to damage his and his family’s image.

Lalu said such actions cannot be ignored. He believes the party must stay true to its principles.
