In a major step towards nurturing young talent, IIT Madras has introduced 10 online certificate courses for school students of Class 10, Plus 1, and Plus 2.
These courses are designed to offer early exposure to advanced subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Electronics Systems, Architecture, Design Engineering, Biological Systems, and Law.
The initiative is part of the institute’s ā€˜School Connect’ program, which aims to bridge the gap between school education and higher technical learning. The courses will be conducted in three batches during the current academic year – August, October, and January.
Students interested in joining the August batch must complete their registration on or before July 25 through the official website:Ā https://code.iitm.ac.in/schoolconnect/
These certificate programs provide school students with a unique opportunity to learn directly from one of India’s premier institutes, helping them explore future academic and career paths. The initiative is expected to boost innovation and early interest in science, technology, and law among high school students.
Parents and teachers are encouraged to support students in enrolling for these valuable learning opportunities.
