The ambitious prequel, directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, has been three years in the making, involving thousands of dedicated crew members.The video showcases the massive scale and emotional depth behind the film, highlighting the team’s relentless effort. With B. Ajaneesh Loknath scoring the music, Arvind Kashyap handling cinematography, and Vinesh Banglan leading production design, the film promises a rich visual and cultural experience.
Set for a worldwide release on October 2, Kantara Chapter 1 will hit screens in seven languages—Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and English—underscoring its pan-India appeal while staying rooted in folklore and faith.
