Actress Rashmika Mandanna is set to lead a high-energy, female-centric action drama titled Mysaa, directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle. The project, produced by Unformula Films, was officially launched today with a grand muhurtham ceremony in Hyderabad, signaling the start of what promises to be a major Pan-India venture.The launch event witnessed prominent industry figures gracing the occasion. Veteran producer Suresh Babu gave the first clap, while director Ravi Kiran Kola switched on the camera. Filmmaker Hanu Raghavapudi handed over the script and directed the ceremonial first shot. The regular shoot is scheduled to begin tomorrow, with Rashmika joining the team for the first schedule.
Mysaa is designed as a high-octane emotional action thriller set against the culturally rich backdrop of the Gond tribes. Rashmika will be seen in a transformative, never-before-seen avatar, portraying a fierce Gond woman with intense emotional layers and strong action sequences.
The film’s technical crew features some exciting names. Cinematography will be handled by Shreyaas P Krishna, known for his recent work in Suriya’s Retro. Action sequences will be choreographed by Andy Long, who was part of the stunt team for Kalki 2898 AD. The production house has teased more big announcements, including the music director, which is expected to be revealed soon.
