Supporters of actor and Makkal Needhi Maiam (MNM) president Kamal Haasan have lodged a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissionerâs office against junior actor Ravi, accusing him of issuing death threats.According to a report from Maalaimalar, the controversy began after Kamal Haasan made remarks on âSanatana Dharmaâ during a recent event in Chennai. In response, Ravi allegedly stated in a media interview that he would slit Kamal Haasanâs throat.
The complaint was filed by MNM Vice President Maurya, along with party executives poet Snehan, Murali Abbas, Mayilvaganan, and Arjunar. The party has demanded swift action against Ravi, stating that such threats are dangerous and cannot be ignored.
