This announcement comes ahead of the six-round endurance racing season, which begins in December.Ajith will share the No. 1 Ligier JS P325–Toyota LMP3 with veteran Indian racer Narain Karthikeyan and a third yet-to-be-announced driver. Together, they will compete under the banner of Ajith Kumar Racing / Team Virage.
The 2025–26 Asian Le Mans season will be the first in which third-generation LMP3 cars are used under new regulations. The campaign kicks off at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia on 12 December 2025 and concludes on 8 February 2026 at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi.
The partnership between Ajith and Karthikeyan joins a growing roster of teams and drivers preparing for the new era of endurance racing in Asia.
