The Tamil action film Anjaan, directed by N Lingusamy and starring Suriya in the lead role, is set to re-release in theatres on November 28. Originally launched on August 15, 2014, the film will return to cinemas, giving audiences another chance to experience its raw action and gripping storyline.Anjaan tells the story of a disabled man who travels to Mumbai in search of his gangster brother. Suriya plays the role of Raju Bhai, a gangster navigating the gritty underworld of Mumbai. The film features a strong ensemble cast including Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Vidyut Jammwal, Manoj Bajpayee, Dalip Tahil, Soori, Murali Sharma, and Piyush Mishra, among others. The film’s dialogues were penned by Brinda Sarathy, complementing Lingusamy’s screenplay and direction. The music, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, was well-received, particularly praised for its energetic tracks. In a notable highlight, Suriya made his singing debut with the song “Ek Dho Theen,” which included vocals by Andrea Jeremiah and Yuvan Shankar Raja. Another popular track was “Kaadhal Aasai,” sung by Yuvan, which further contributed to the film’s appeal.Despite its mixed reviews at the time of release, Anjaan gained attention for its performances, especially Suriya’s dual role, action sequences, and soundtrack. Its re-release this year will offer fans a chance to revisit the action-packed drama and its compelling music .
