Actorāpolitician and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in New Delhi today for a second round of questioning in connection with the Karur stampede case. The fresh appearance is part of the ongoing probe into the tragic crowd crush that occurred during a TVK rally on September 27, 2025, which claimed the lives of 41 people and left many others injured.
Vijay, who previously faced extended questioning by the CBI in Delhi earlier this month, travelled to the national capital over the weekend to comply with the agencyās summons. Investigators are continuing to seek clarity on various aspects of the incident, including crowd management, event organisation and safety arrangements at the rally venue.
