Popular musician-actor and filmmaker Hiphop Tamizha Adhi has officially announced the sequel to his breakthrough film Meesaya Murukku during a concert in Malaysia. The original movie, released in 2017, marked Adhi’s directorial debut and became a major hit. Meesaya Murukku 2 will continue in the same vein, portraying a true-story journey of friendship and ambition, with Adhi reprising his role alongside Harshath Khan as his friend, the makers said.The announcement comes as part of Adhi’s growing film career, and Meesaya Murukku 2 will be his fourth directorial venture following Meesaya Murukku, Sivakumarin Sabhadam and Kadaisi Ulaga Por.
