A tragic cylinder explosion claimed the life of a jewellery shop owner in Chennai.
The incident occurred when a domestic LPG cylinder in the shop suddenly exploded, causing severe blast injuries to the owner. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Local fire and rescue teams responded to the scene and extinguished the ensuing fire. Police cordoned off the area to carry out an initial investigation and remove debris safely.
