Streaming giant Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Made In Korea, a cross-cultural coming-of-age drama that traces the emotional journey of a young woman from Tamil Nadu to South Korea. Directed by Ra. Karthik and produced by Sreenidhi Sagar under Rise East Entertainment, the film stars Priyanka Mohan in the lead role and is set to premiere on March 12.
The trailer introduces viewers to Shenba, a young woman who leaves her small-town life in Tamil Nadu and travels to Seoul in search of opportunity and self-discovery. As she navigates unfamiliar streets and cultures, Shenba’s journey unfolds through moments of vulnerability, resilience and quiet courage. The narrative promises an emotional look at what it means to rebuild identity far from home.
Blending the cultural rhythms of Tamil Nadu with the vibrant atmosphere of Seoul, the film explores themes of belonging, friendship and personal growth. The story highlights how unexpected encounters and challenges gradually shape Shenba’s path, turning uncertainty into strength.
The film also marks a notable international collaboration, bringing together Indian and South Korean talent. Alongside Priyanka Mohan, the cast features Korean actors Park Hye‑Jin and No Ho‑jin, adding authenticity and depth to the cross-cultural narrative.
