New Delhi, July 1:
In a significant relief for commercial users, the price of 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders has been reduced by ₹183 across India, effective July 1.
The price cut comes after a series of increases in recent months, which were largely attributed to global supply disruptions amid the West Asia crisis. The reduction is expected to benefit hotels, restaurants, and small businesses that rely heavily on commercial LPG for daily operations.
Officials stated that the revision reflects easing pressure in international energy markets, offering some respite to bulk consumers. However, domestic LPG cylinder prices for household use remain unchanged.
