The makers of Mandaadi have released a high-energy promotional song that has quickly gained traction online, with Soori’s dance moves and physical transformation becoming major highlights ahead of the film’s worldwide release on September 10.
Composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar, the track features vocals by Velmurugan and Vaheesan.
It has been receiving an enthusiastic response both on digital platforms and in theatres, where it is being screened as part of the film’s promotional campaign.
A key talking point is Soori’s transformation from comedian to action hero. With a chiselled physique and energetic performance, the actor has impressed audiences with a completely new on-screen avatar.
Directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, Mandaadi is inspired by traditional fishermen’s sailboat racing culture and explores themes of determination and resilience.
The film also stars Suhas, Mahima Nambiar, Sathyaraj, Ravindra Vijay, Achyuth Kumar, Bala Saravanan, Mithun and Keerthika. Produced by Elred Kumar under RS Infotainment, the movie is currently in its final stages of post-production.
