Chennai: Actor Vimal’s Ivanukku Engayo Macham Irukku is a comedy caper targetted at youngsters. Written and directed by A R Mukesh, the movie stars Ashna Zaveri as heroine. Singampuli, Mansoor Ali Khan and Lokesh are also in the cast. Actress Poorna plays an important role. Cinematography is by Gopi Jagatheeswaran and music, by Natraj Sankaran.
Speaking about the film, Mukesh, says, “Vimal and Singampuli are involved in petty crimes. One day, they decide to loot a precious jewel from Anandraj. They are chased by Anandraj on the one side, and police officers Mansoor Ali Khan and Poorna, on the other. What happens then forms the crux of the film. It is a comedy caper.”
A major portion of the movie was shot in London, Tenkasi and Chennai. The trailer of the Youtube was viewed by over 20 million fans, he adds.
