Live sound sync has always been a tedious task for Tamil filmmakers who don’t prefer it for various reasons, including the language issues of actors and the disturbing set environment.
Only a few filmmakers have attempted that so far, including Kamal Haasan in Virumandi and Hey Ram and Mani Ratnam in OK Kanmani.
Filmmaker Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan-fame has opted for sync sound strategy for his upcoming thriller Aadai, starring Amala Paul in the lead.
Confirming the news, Rathna Kumar took to his Facebook page to say, “AAADAI Live sound. When you go for sync sound. Diction, Modulation, Remembering lines, Breath control, Patience and 100% Discipline from the entire crew will be challenged.CHALLENGE ACCEPTED.”
The first look of the film, featuring Amala Paul, raised eyebrows in the industry and it suggests that the actress plays a bold and daring role in Aadai.
