2019 general elections: Rahul arrives in Kerala to file nomination

Chennai: Congress president Rahul Gandhi has landed in Kerala and will file his nomination papers around 11.30 for the Wayanad parliamentary constituency.

According to TV reports, Rahul arrived in Kerala last night. He is contesting from Wayanad as a second constituency, apart from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.

The Congress is also planing a massive rally in Wayanad ahead of Rahul filing his nomination papers.

Speaking about the chances of Rahul Gandhi in Wayanad, senior Congress leader Oomen Chandy said since it is a tribal belt, he would win hands down with a huge margin.

But the Left parties are seeing red with Rahul contesting from Wayanad and promise to make it a tough fight.
