Chennai: R Dinesh (6/5) delivered a sensational spell to guide Fine Star CA to a mammoth 151-run victory over SRMC RI & RC in the second round of the Thiruvallur DCA- Gopu Memorial T20 tournament.
Batting first, Fine Star posted a decent total of 165 for six in its stipulated overs. SRMC crumbled like a pack of cards in the chase, with left-arm spinner Dinesh running riot. SRMC was bowled out for a paltry 14 in 5.4 overs, going down woefully. In a TNCA-Thiruvallur DCA League Championship match, S Aravind’s (5/42) five-wicket haul, which included a hat-trick, wasn’t enough as Ebenezer CA went down to Sundar CC by a big margin of 156 runs.
