Chennai: Counselling for engineering seats in Anna University will now be held from 25 June, and not 20 June, according to the university.
It was announced today that counselling was first scheduled for 20 June for special category students. But this has now been shifted to 25 June, said reports.
The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission merit list 2019 was scheduled to be released 17 June but has now been postponed to 20 June.
Higher Education Minister K P Anbalagan said 15 June that the release of rank list has been postponed to the new date due to extension of the verification process by a day.
TNDTE will formally announce the TNEA merit list which will contain names of candidates selected for admission to various engineering programmes this year. The TNEA rank list will be made available on the official website tneaonline.in.
Unlike previous years when Anna University released the TNEA rank list, the 2019 rank list will be released by TNDTE and published online. It will also be available on tndte.gov.in website.
