Chennai: Bigg Boss 3 Tamil reality show is getting a lot of publicity not just for the shenanigans inside the house but also for its contestants getting on the wrong side of law

Meera Mithun, a model and actress and one of the 15 contestants in the reality show, is facing allegations of cheating a Chennai resident.

According to reports, Meera is said to have cheated T Nagar resident Ranjitha of Rs 50,000 claiming to conduct fashion shows in the city.

As per reports, the Teynampet police have issued summons to her to appear before them 19 July.

This morning, another contestant, Vanitha Vijayakumar, faced heat from the Telangana police who were acting on a kidnap complaint filed by her ex-husband. The complaint said after the divorce she had only visitation rights. But she had ‘kidnapped’ the child and hidden her in Chennai, charged her former husband.

Vanitha was grilled for two hours in EVP Film City by the Telangana police team.

Vanitha and Meera had a clash in the Bigg Boss house earlier this week. When Vanitha was the captain of the house, she and Meera had a shouting match. In the show that is aired on Vijay TV, Meera is heard telling Vanitha not to shout but calm down as it would raise her BP for which Vanitha replies that she does not have that problem.
