Chennai:Srikanth and Raai Laxmi are coming together for an intense thriller titled Mirugaa. Directed by J Parthiban, a former assistant of filmmaker Bala, the movie is set in a forest. The highlight of the movie is that ace cinematographer M V Panneerselvam has penned the story and screenplay.
Srikanth plays an interesting character in the movie. He will seen as a a suave and charismatic person in the movie. There are shades of grey in his character. The encounters between him and Raai Laxmi makes up the movie. Mirugaa is a vivid account of how women too can go to great lengths to get their point across.
Shot in Pollachi, Munnar, Thalaikona, Chennai, Ooty and Kodaikanal, B Vinod Jain of Jaguar Studios bankrolls Mirugaa. Arul Dev is the music composer. Speaking about his role, Srikanth says, “It is an intense thriller. It was a challenge to portray a character with various shades – good, bad and ugly.”
“My body language and dialogue delivery would be very different. Thanks to my debutant filmmaker Parthiban, I got a wonderful opportunity to showcase my acting skills. Even as the movie begins, the adrenaline – pumping thrilling scenes would start to unfold. People will be glued to their seat-edges.”
“A tiger created through animation will be the movie’s highlight. Miruga has come good and audience will love it a lot,” he adds. Made in a grand manner, Miruga will be a thorough entertainer, Srikanth says.
