Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) has announced that the much-anticipated Koyambedu to Chennai Trade Centre stretch, part of Phase-II Corridor 5, is expected to be completed by June 2026. This route will connect key localities such as Alapakkam, Valasaravakkam, Karambakkam, and Alwarthirunagar, offering commuters seamless travel with multiple interchange options.
