As part of a major drug crackdown, a special police squad under the authority of the Tambaram Police Commissioner conducted extensive raids on Wednesday at private hostels and student accommodations across Tambaram, Pallavaram, Potheri, and Kelambakkam. This operation led to the seizure of a significant quantity of narcotics, including ganja, drug tablets, needles, stamps, and gutkha, and the detention of four individuals.
