A comprehensive study conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) in association with the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) has revealed that noise levels in several parts of Chennai frequently exceed the limits prescribed by pollution control authorities.
