Following the incident at the Chennai Guindy Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, where Dr. Balaji, the Head of the Oncology Department, was stabbed by a youth, Tamil Nadu Director General of Police (DGP) Shankar Jiwal convened a meeting with senior police officials to discuss hospital security measures across the state.
