Despite initial delays, the construction of Corridor 4 for Chennai’s double-decker Metro is now advancing rapidly. Managed by Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) in collaboration with L&T, this project is notable for being India’s first double-decker Metro, with both lines supported on the same pier.
