Chennai: Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, has requested the students to be aware of their responsibilities they have in the society and asked them to uphold the secular values of our country.
Participating at the third graduation day of Mohamed Sathak A J Academy of Architecture, at Siruseri, Chennai, recently, he appealed to the students to ensure decency and dignity in public and private life.
He said students would have different dreams and should not give it up. “We should apply our knowledge in upliftment of the downtrodden and betterment of the society,” the Prince of Arcot said.
Padmashree M Rafeeq Ahmed shared his experience with students and advised them to face the challenges with courage and dignity and bring laurels to the profession and institution they studied.
Mohamed Sathak Trust chairman S M Mohamed Yousuf, presided over the graduation day celebration.
College principal Mohammed Idris presented the annual report for the academic year 2017-18 and listed out the events and achievements of the Academy.
A total of 88 students were awarded degrees and seven students featured in the top 50 ranks, in the ranking list published by Anna University.
Dean of the Academy, Mohammed Haris, welcomed the gathering and HoD of the Academy T Sathish Kumar proposed the vote of thanks.
