Chennai: Seven persons, including three women, were killed on-the-spot, while three others were seriously injured, when they were hit by a speedy car at Sundarapuram area in Coimbatore this morning.
Police said that the driver of a car coming from Pollachi lost control of vehicle and and hit a share auto and ran over those waiting at the bus stop.
The injured were admitted in a private hospital at Sundarapuram. Police has arrested the car driver and further investigation was on, police added.
