Chennai: The search hunt is on for the second consecutive day to trace a 20-year-old youngster who went missing in Marina beach last evening.
The victim, Naresh, of Mint-street in Sowcarpet went missing along with his friend Dinesh Kumar, 18. The duo was last seen when they went to take a dip in the beach.
Soon after the incident, a rescue team started a search hunt on to trace the youths. In the attempt, the team found the body of Dinesh Kumar last night.
However, the team abandoned the searches owing to insufficient lighting yesterday. This morning, the team has begun the hunt to trace Naresh who remains untraceable.
A case has been registered at Marina Police station.
