Quality convention to conduct meet for smart business


Chennai: State Minister for Tamil Official Language, Tamil Culture and Archaeology, K Pandiarajan will be inaugurating on 10 August a two-day global quality convention at Chennai Trade Centre.

Themed `Digital Quality for Disruptive Future’’, the 16th NIQR Global Quality Convention is to enable the participants/delegates to understand, assimilate and prepare themselves for Smart Businesses and Industries with the advent of Industry 4.0 revolution and rapidly evolving disruptive technologies in the rapidly changing technological world, a release stated.

The valedictory event on 11 August will witness participation of Union Minister of State, Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, C R Chaudhary as chief guest.

In six sessions across two days, the convention is to deal with the key areas necessary for change with the changing world, the release said, with topics being covered such as preparing business processes for the ensuing disruptions, etc.

Subject experts and eminent Industry leaders from different parts of the nation and globe are to be present.

More than 1,000 delegates from across the Globe representing various sectors are expected to participate in the event, the release stated.
