‘Joker’ fame Guru Somasundaram and Lakshmi Priya of film ‘Lakshmi’ fame team up for a comedy thriller ‘Odu Raja Odu’.
The movie is directed by Nishanth and Jatin. “The film revolves around a newly married couple and how a Set Top Box comes in their way and creates a havoc forms the rest. It tells the story of three sets of characters and a comedy of errors leading to disastrous consequences for some and victory for others,” explains director duo.
Nasser plays an important role. Others in the cast include Anandsami, Ashiqa Salvan, Ravindra Vijay, Abishek, Vonod, Powerstar Srinivasan among others. A surprise inclusion in the cast is ace actress Simranās husband Deepak Bagga who debuts as a villain in the film.
Earlier, Madhavan revealed the first look poster of the film. The film released by PT Selvakumar is set to hit the screens on 17 August.
