Chennai: Actor Vijay, who returned from USA after completing shooting for his mega project ‘Sarkar’,went to Marina and paid homage to the former Chief Minister and DMK chief Karunanidhi at his memorial in Marina.
When Karunanidhi passed away, Vijay was in Las Vegas shooting for ‘Sarkar’ and it was not easy for him to rush back. But as a mark of respect, ‘Sarkar’ team had cancelled the shoot on 8 August and mourned along with the people of Tamilnadu.
Vijay visited Kauvery Hospital to enquire about Karunanidhi’s health condition with MK Stalin, son of the late DMK Supremo and party’s working president.
