Chennai: Three men have been arrested by city police with four kilograms of ganja last night.
According to police, Immanuel (59), a resident of Pattinampakkam, Albert (37), from Valasaravakkam and Anand (32) of Kannagai Nagar were peddling ganja from Anan Sathya Nagar to Muthusamy Salai in Flower Bazaar.
At Muthusamy Salai, a team of police lead by Inspector Ravi was conducting a vehicle check.
The trio were taking the banned substance in an auto rickshaw which was stopped for checking by the police.
Inspector Ravi said, Immanuel was a regular offender who has been caught by the police before.
The trio was produced before a court and were sent to jail.
