Chennai: The DMK headquarters today asked its cadres not to fall at the feet of party president M K Stalin, which will make him feel embarrassed.

A press release said cadres should avoid keeping unnecessary banners.

“It is more than enough to keep a few banners to know the place and timing of any meeting. Instead of keeping lavish banners, cadres can keep party flags,” the release said.

It further said, “Stalin has already directed the party cadres to give books instead of shawls and bouquets when they come to meet him and the same should be followed henceforth as well. These books will be gifted to various libraries across the State and will also be kept in the libraries which will be formed in the district party office.”

BACK IN FOLD

Former minister Mullaivendhan, who was in the DMDK, today rejoined the DMK in the presence of DMK president Stalin.

Similarly, Karuppaswamy Pandian, who quit the AIADMK, also joined the DMK.
