Vijay’s wife Sangeetha withdraws divorce plea, Mahila Court says case closed

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) Founder Vijay’s wife Sangeetha on Friday withdrew the divorce plea filed against him following which the Chengapattu Family Court treated the case as closed.

Murder accused abducted, hacked to death near Tiruvallur

A history-sheeter wanted in a murder case was allegedly abducted and hacked to death near Vengal in Tiruvallur district on Thursday night. The prime suspect, identified as Andhra Pradesh-based rowdy Nataraj, later surrendered before the police.
