Chennai: I have not seen Thanga Thamizhselvan’s interview, says Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam, when asked about his alleged attempt to meet Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam founder T T V Dhinakaran.
Thanga Thamizhselvan had told a Tamil news TV channel yesterday that Panneerselvam had sought an appointment last week to meet expelled AIADMK leader Dhinakaran in an attempt to dislodge Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami.
Reacting to the news, Panneerselvam today said he had not seen Thamizhselvan’s interview and that he would give his opinion later.
Thamizhselvan recalled that OPS had met Dhinakaran in 2017, but Panneerselvam dismissed it as something that happened in the past.
The AMMK spokesperson has said they would release the relevant video at an appropriate time, and dared the Deputy Chief Minister to take him to court over the issue and file a defamation case
