
Chennai: Datsun India has launched the new Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ at an introductory price of Rs 3.29 lakh and Rs 3.83 lakh respectively. Deliveries to new customers have also begun.
Datsun states that these offerings boast an attractive proposition of new design with an array of advanced features for evolving customers.
Speaking at the launch, president, Nissan India Operations, Thomas Kuehl, said, “The new Datsun GO and Datsun GO+ is conceptualized for the new-age Indian consumer, the millennials who are mature, smart goers, family oriented with a progressive and evolved mindset. Powered by Japanese engineering, Datsun GO and GO+ are equipped with fabulous new features and upgrades for a more comfortable, safe and stylish driving experience.”
A release from Datsun stated that the cars have class leading Japanese technologies, fuel-efficiency, spaciousness and safety. The GO and GO+ come equipped with Ride Control Advanced Suspension system and 1.2L HR12 DE petrol engine delivering a claimed mileage of 19.83 Kmpl.
Datsun states it has added 28 new features and more than 100 unique upgrades to the models. Both models will come with a standard warranty of two years “Datsun Care”.
Datsun has also announced that Aamir Khan as its brand ambassador in India. The actor is to feature a new brand campaign #ExperienceChange.
