Chennai: Musical hits from A R Rahman were rendered by singers Satya Prakash, Saindhavi and Harini at a fund raising event ‘Forever Rahman’ organised by Rotary Club of Madras Chenna Patna (RCMCP).
The show was anchored by western classical pianist Anil Srinivasan.
He also gave a performance, which saw two visually challenged persons Jyothi and Evanjalin Mary singing to his music, a press release said.
At the function, RCMCP honoured singers D Srinivas and P Unnikrishnan with Life Time Achievement Award.
The award was given by actress Suhashini Maniratnam and Arya to Srinivas, while Khushboo Sundar did the honours for P Unnikrishnan.
As Unnikrishnan was away, the award was received by his parents on his behalf.
