Chennai: Thousands of people all over the world were shocked to find that YouTube channels did not function this morning. But it was back in the business in about an hour’s time with the glitch set right.
Reports suggest that it was server problem that shut down the popular video-sharing website.
YouTube, that functions from California State in the United States, is headquartered at San Bruno. It is reported that experts in the company rushed to correct the glitch.
YouTube took to Twitter and explained that it was acting on the complaints of its users who said YouTube Music and YouTube TV were down. Apologising for the break in service, YouTube said its experts were trying to set right the problem and the users would be informed once the service resumed. It resumed in about an hour’s time.
