Chennai: Makkal TV is set to telecast Shriram Chits’ new 26-episode game show, ‘Kuralodu Vilayadu‘ from 4 November.
The show will air Sundays between 10.30 am and 11 am, until 28 April 2019. It is produced by Shriram Group and directed by Thurai Nagarajan of Boon Fun Media.
The show will be compered by Vijayan.
A press release said, “Shriram Chits had organised preliminary round of talent hunt at Chennai, Puducherry, Madurai, Nellai, Thiruvarur, Trichy, Kovai, Erode, Salem and Vellore. The theme was Thirukkural and about 2,087 students participated. The grand finale was recently conducted here in Chennai where 30 finalists contested. Three winners were awarded the title, ‘Thirukkural Thilakam’.”
